• identifying holders of skills, abilities and knowledge in the field of certain types of intangible cultural heritage at the local level
• assistance in the development of direct contacts between bearers and local experts and/or museum specialists in the field of certain types of intangible cultural heritage
• wide dissemination of information about educational and informational events conducted by the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO for media and experts
• assistance to historical and local history museums, ethnocultural centers and the media in obtaining consultations at the local level

Participation in the Database is a voluntary decision of bearers, experts and specialists of intangible cultural heritage who seek to share their skills, knowledge and abilities with other persons
